Marketing Manager – Tanks North America

Location: Houston

The role will also involve supporting research, prospecting and promotion of new business development along with marketing director using payback consultative selling methodology.

Key Tasks and Activities:

  • Assist Marketing Director to maintain, develop and grow existing Tank Lease customer base
  • Responsibility for supporting global key accounts at local level
  • Revenue responsibility for selected local direct accounts under Marketing Director
  • Telephone sales support and face to face client contact
  • Support role for Seaco account managers with tank new business development and tank activity oversight
  • Respond and manage new phone in / internet enquiries for tank leasing
  • Support Account Receivable goals within company guidelines, and meeting DSO targets
  • Produce and distribute customer inventory mailings by market sector too, along with other email blasts
  • Prepare new lease contract documentation drafts
  • Manage lease contract renewal schedule in conjunction with account managers
  • New business prospecting to meet goals for new leasing business development
  • Support credit team with credit application data for new clients and existing business reviews
  • Conduct industry sector market analysis, including cold calling to determine areas of new development for Seaco tank products
  • Maintaining internal sales policy updates and global inventory data for regional sales team.
  • Work with re-marketing team to develop and promote new tank sale clients and markets for after-market tank sales
  • Monitoring industry and customer trends
  • Compile sales pipeline report for region and follow up on ‘live’ negotiations
  • Maintain sales CRM database.
  • Client training as needed
