Does Seaco provide fleet management services on special containers?
Yes, we can manage your portfolio on your behalf or provide technical advice to your fleet. Please refer to the third party fleet management services or contact your nearest office or agent for more details.
I cannot find the container type I require in the product offering. How can Seaco assist me?
Seaco customizes and develops the perfect container for our customers no matter what the requirement is. What benefits does a seacell give me in comparison to a standard box?
The unique corrugation of a seacell optimizes cubic capacity to allow for the carriage of more pallets while handled like a standard container. Please see table below as a comparison.

Can I pay in currencies other than US dollars?
A lease can be arranged to suit individual needs including the currency of rental billing. Typical rates are quoted in US dollar or Euro.
How many flatracks can I bundle together for intermodal transportation?
You can bundle 4 x 40’ or 7 x 20’ for intermodal transportation. However, some ports have different restrictions and only accept 20’s in bundles of 5. Please check with the local port authorities for further details.
I have a regional requirement for containers. Does Seaco deliver the special container to my preferred location?
We understand that some specific special containers are used specifically on a regional basis. Working with a global network of logistic suppliers, we will transport the containers to your required location at the start of the lease, whenever and wherever you need them.
What is the minimum or maximum lease period?
The typical lease period for a tank container is from one to five years or more, but it can be tailored to suit your needs. There is no minimum period but there is a minimum price to make leasing economical.
Are the ends of the flatracks foldable?
Seaco offers flush folding flatracks which consists of foldable ends providing ease of storage and transport. In addition, we offer a variety of other flatrack types, eg. Fixed ends, extended ends, platforms to suit cater for your business requirements.

CIC Inspection Criteria for Dry Freight Containers
All Seaco dry van, flat rack and specials including Seacell and Open top containers will be inspected to CIC an amended IICL – 5 inspection criteria.
